Teaching

I teach at the intersections of geography, data science, urban planning, and economics, with a focus on spatial and environmental justice. My courses emphasize hands-on active learning in social science research and data science while engaging students in critical conversations about power and equity, ecological sustainability, and collaboration with local residents and community organizations. I work to create collaborative spaces where students connect quantitative and qualitative scientific methods to the real-world challenges and opportunities.
